Yesterday while spinning around in a chair I discovered that I can't remember a time that I've been so contently happy for such a long time until now. Bizarre. The minute I begin to be happy in this town, I'm heading out just as fast but then I guess that's just the way life goes.
I realized nothing makes me happier now a day then seeing my two year old niece. She's such a little spit fire now. Always talking, demanding something or saying her favorite word "no". But I can't help but feel indescribably happy when she sees me, yells "TORRRRRY!" with a huge grin and run into me with the force that sometimes could knock me over. I love my niece.
Life is all chill like it should be in summer. Probably a reason that everyone loves it so much. Though today the weather was kind of crappy but it was a nice break from the intense heat from yesterday.
I should go read my summer reading book...which is extremely boring but it's got to be done.
